La Casa de Dora,Dora House exhibit

According to the Miami Herald

On May 26, the final touches were put on La Casa de Dora, an exhibit featuring Nickelodeon’s popular Dora the Explorer character.

Much like the animated adventure series starring the 7-year-old Latina heroine, the problem-solving action still takes place. But this time it’s out of the rain forest.

La Casa de Dora, sponsored by Publix, allows preschoolers to experience a life-size replica of Dora’s 2,000-square-foot Latin American home, including tropical courtyard.

Each section is filled with interactive games, such as a kitchen filled with cooking utensils and food labeled in English and Spanish, problem-solving activities such as packing Dora’s famous backpack with the right supplies, and a visit from a live, costumed Dora character.

This is a new exhibit at the Young Art Children’s Museum in Davie, Florida.
